Dec-K-ing (PVC) Membrane

Product Description

Dec-K-ing is a single-ply, trafficable, waterproofing PVC sheet membrane system for deck surfaces (suitable for decks above living areas). It is an aesthetic, all-inclusive finished waterproofing solution. The sheets are heat-welded with 25mm lapped seams. Dec-K-ing has an embossed, slip-resistant surface that also provides underfoot comfort, and has a propensity to take a lot longer to heat-up than other decks surfaces.

The embossed surface offers wear resistance, while the polyester-reinforcing mesh scrim inherent throughout the membrane provides puncture resistance. Added durability comes from Dec-K-ing’s strong UV resistance and directional stability: changes in temperature cause deck substrates (especially plywood) to contract and expand. This has caused splitting and leaking in other membranes. Dec-K-ing’s flexibility, reinforcing mesh scrim and heat-weldable technology avoids this.

Dec-K-ing is suitable for inland, coastal, residential (roof decks, patios, pool decks, multi-unit apartments) and commercial (surf clubs, schools, playgrounds) areas, and is also great for ramps and walkways.

TPO Membrane

Product Description

Dec-K-ing is a single-ply, trafficable, waterproofing PVC sheet membrane system for deck TPO is a scrim reinforced sheet membrane made from TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin). Available in grey and white and thicknesses of 1.14mm and 1.5mm.  The sheet sizes range from 3.0mtre to 3.6mtre wide and 30 meters long which uses less joints and aesthetically pleasing to the adjacent buildings looking down on it. One roll will give you a coverage of 90mtrs and comes with its own propriety accessories to complete your waterproofing system whether it’s a deck, flat roof, canopy or gutter.  Seals off all possible water pinholes and eliminates any possible water migration (providing its installed by an approved applicator)  Fully adhered with Welded bonding adhesive and adjoining sheets are overlapped approximately 50mm and vulcanised air weld joints.

Liquid Membrane

Product Description

Liquid membranes are based on the unique SBR (styrene -butadiene rubber) technology. This environmentally friendly technology is cold applied and is the most cost effective option to sheet membranes we use.  We’re approved applicators for Waterproofing Solutions Ltd (WPS)  and we use their product called Gripset. In my experience this is the best liquid membrane in the market backed by a great partnership with WPS team.  Below is a segment taken directly from WPS Website a list of components that makes up their system.

Torch-on Membrane

Product Description

Torch-on system is made up of two bituminous layers of waterproofing

membranes for decks, roofs, canopies and gutters. The two-layers consist of a 3mm thick base-sheet which is torch-applied to the substrate, and a 4mm thick ceramic-chip cap-sheet, which is torch-applied on top of it.

A glass-fiber reinforced polyester mesh within both sheets provides latitudinal tensile strength and high puncture resistance. The base sheet is the main waterproofing layer of the system and most important to apply it right. The cap-sheet protects the application from the ozone.
